After the break, the Mustangs came out strong with Conner Budniak finding the back of the net in the top left corner to level the score at 1-1. However, their lead was short-lived as the Spartans regained the advantage with Elijah Eljiofor converting a penalty kick to make it 2-1 in their favor.
Undeterred, Montgomery County showed their resilience by equalizing once again when Chris Simmons successfully scored a penalty kick to tie the game at 2-2. Despite both teams' efforts, neither could secure the winning goal, leading to a draw at the final whistle.
