Bio
Kelly Donohue was named
Montgomery County Community College women’s basketball head
coach in September 2008. After posting a 2-11 record in her first
season as a "club team", Donohue actively recruited in the
Montgomery County area, signing the first of her recruits for
the 2009-2010 season in early May.
In her inaugural season as an
EPCC head coach, the team posted an overall record of 13-8 and a
conference record of 11-5 earning a spot in the EPCC conference
finals. Under her guidance, Mercedes Harris and Janay
Winston earned a spot on the EPCC All-Conference team and PCAA
All-State team. Donohue is entering her third season at the helm of
the women’s basketball program. She is returning five
sophomores and hopes to build on the success of last season.
Before coming to Montgomery
County Community College, Donohue served as the Assistant
Women’s Basketball Coach at Haverford College during the
2007-2008 season.
Donohue is a 2001 graduate of the
University of New Hampshire, where she earned a Bachelor of Science
degree in Sports Management. She was a three-year starter for
the Wildcats at the guard position and is currently ranked
10th in steals and 4th in assists in program
history.
