Mustangs Roll to 83-40 Victory over Ocean

Montgomery County dominated from start to finish on Wednesday night, rolling to an 83–40 road victory over Ocean County. The Mustangs controlled every phase of the game, using stifling defense, aggressive rebounding, and efficient scoring in the paint to improve their season momentum.

MCCC jumped out to an 18–10 first-quarter lead and never looked back, stretching the margin to 37–17 by halftime. The Mustangs exploded for 24 points in the third quarter and closed strong with a 22-point fourth to seal the 43-point win.

Offensive Standouts

• Azjiona Golston was unstoppable, pouring in 28 points on 13–29 shooting while adding 6 rebounds, 6 steals, and 4 assists.

• Aubrey Wroten had a monster all-around performance with 26 points, 24 rebounds an incredible double-double.

• Addison Benner delivered 16 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 steals in a high-energy outing.

MCCC's defensive intensity dictated the game from the opening tip, generating 30 deflections and smothering Ocean's perimeter shooting (2-for-24 from three). The Mustangs controlled the glass on both ends and repeatedly turned stops into easy scoring opportunities.

With balanced scoring, elite defensive effort, and complete control of the tempo, MCCC put together one of its most complete performances of the season.
