Montco victorious in first round of playoffs

The Lady Mustangs beat the Cougars of Lehigh Carbon 64-55 Friday evening at the Health Sciences Gym in Blue Bell.  The playoff win was just the school's first in 6 years.

The Lady Mustangs had 3 starters score in double figures. Taylor Keys led the way with 23 points, Constance Stine had 14, and Maddy Brodish chipped in 11.  More importantly the Mustangs held the #5 scorer in the nation (NJCAA Div.III) well under her 24.1 ppg. average.

The team heads to Sewell New Jersey on Monday at 6pm for a Quarter Finals match up with the #1 seed Rowan College Gloucester County.
