On Saturday, Softball traveled to Rowan College at Cumberland County to take on the Dukes in a doubleheader. Despite a 10-game losing streak, spirits were high and the team believed they could win.
Unfortunately, the Dukes were ready as well. The Mustangs got their first run in the sixth inning of the first game, but unfortunately, Cumberland had already built up a 6-1 lead. Scoring three more, the Dukes would end the first game 9-1.
Game two was more of the same. The dukes racked up 8 runs and took game two 8-0.
Softball will look to get back on track on Sunday as they take on Sussex County Community College.
