Softball Drops Series to DII Lackawanna

In their second home game of the season, softball came up against NJCAA DII Lackawanna in a tough matchup for the Mustangs. Lackawanna started off strong in both games, scoring a combined 11 runs in the first two innings of each game. Even though Montgomery was up against a tough opponent, they kept on fighting, eventuallay grabbing a few runs. Katie Beer continued her good season, adding 3 runs and an RBI in both games on only 3 hits. However, the Falcons offense ended up being too powerful for Montgomery to mount a comeback, and both games ended in 5 innings.
