Ninth Ranked Spartans Too Much for Mustangs
Blue Bell, Pa. � The Montgomery County Community College Mustangs women�s softball team lost 0-13 and 1-8 to the Northampton Community College Spartans Tuesday, Apr. 6 , 2010. The Spartans are ranked ninth on the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division III Top Ten National Poll.
Highlights for the Mustangs include two hits by Mary Thornton in game one and two hits by Katelyn Martin and a triple and one run by Lisamarie Murray in game two.
The Mustangs softball team is now 4-6 overall (0-4 NJCAA Region XIX Division III). Next the team will travel to Lehigh Carbon Community College on Wednesday, Apr. 7 for a 3:30 p.m. competition.
