The Montgomery County Community College Men's Soccer team played to a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Atlantic Cape on Saturday September 13th , but were unable to hold onto a first-half lead despite a strong overall performance.
Liam Greth opened the scoring for the Mustangs in the 25th minute, finishing a well-placed assist from Zeloul Molla to give Montco a 1-0 advantage heading into halftime.
Atlantic Cape responded early in the second half, leveling the match in the 55th minute with a goal that shifted the momentum. The Mustangs continued to press forward and created several promising chances, but were ultimately unable to find the back of the net again.
Despite the draw, the Mustangs showed resilience and attacking intent throughout the match, and will look to build on this performance as they prepare for their next match on Tuesday Septemer 16th vs Harrisburg.
