Mustangs Earn First Win with 2-0 Victory Over Sussex in Region 19 Clash

Blue Bell, PA – Montgomery County Community College secured their first win of the season with a decisive 2-0 victory over Sussex County Community College in a pivotal Region 19 matchup on Saturday.

Justin Russell led the way for the Mustangs, netting both goals to lift his squad to a much-needed result. The win improves Montco's record to 1-2-1 on the season and provides valuable momentum heading into conference play.

Defensively, the Mustangs held strong throughout the match, earning their first clean sheet of the year while controlling the pace against a tough Sussex side.

Montgomery will look to build on the performance when they travel to face EPAC rival Northampton on Tuesday, September 9th. Kickoff is set for 4:00 p.m.
