Montgomery County Holds Off HACC for 95–86 Win

Montgomery County Community College men's basketball picked up an impressive 95–86 victory over Harrisburg Area Community College on January 10, 2026, using a balanced offensive attack and strong interior play to secure the win.

Julius Marshall led all scorers with 22 points, knocking down five three-pointers and adding four rebounds and a block in 31 minutes. Matthew Williams and Steven Hill each added 15 points, with Hill also contributing four steals and four assists. Qudire Bennett provided a spark off the bench, shooting 5-for-7 from the field for 12 points, while Alantay Dawson chipped in 12 points and four assists.

Montgomery County shot 50.7 percent from the field and scored 50 points in the paint, showcasing its ability to attack the rim. The Mustangs also won the rebounding battle, pulling down 43 total boards, including 15 offensive rebounds that led to 12 second-chance points. Defensively, MCCC was active, recording 16 deflections and nine steals.

The Mustangs are back in action on Tuesday when they host Brookdale Community College at 7 pm.
