Mustangs: Adam, how long have you been playing basketball and why do you love it so much?
Jones: I've played basketball for the past 11 years. I love the competition of the sport. I like to challenge myself and be a competitor out there.
Mustangs: Tell me about your time as a basketball player for the Mustangs. What was your biggest accomplishment and what made you so successful?
Jones: I enjoyed playing basketball for Montgomery County Community College. Playing here gave me the opportunity to excel on the court and my biggest accomplishment was scoring over 650 points in just two seasons. I think what made me successful as a student-athlete was being able to manage my time and stay focused on what I needed to do on and off the court.
Mustangs: Where will you be going in the fall and how did you choose your transfer institution?
Jones: I am transferring to Immaculata University because it's a good academic school and the basketball program is strong. The Mighty Macs are a well-known NCAA Division III basketball program with a rich history. I'll be majoring in Exercise Science because I want to become a physical therapist.
Mustangs: Where do you see yourself five years from now?
Jones: Five years from now I plan to have my degree completed and have a successful career that keeps me involved with sports.
Mustangs: Who has been your greatest inspiration?
Jones: I admire Kobe Bryant as an athlete because he has a competitive spirit and really loves the game. I'm also inspired by my parents because they work hard and support me in everything I do.
Mustangs: What is a quote or motto that you try to live by?
Jones: "Don't practice until you get it right. Practice until you can't get it wrong."
