Mustangs Top Dragons 10-8

Blue Bell, Pa. – The Montgomery County Community College Mustangs baseball team topped the Drexel University Dragons 10-8 Wednesday, Apr. 14, 2010.

Top offensive performers for the Mustangs were Michael Caracappa (Plymouth Whitemarsh), who went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs, Jacob Lehotta (Souderton), who went 3-for-4 with one home run and three RBIs, and Jim Heilman (AB Wood), who went 3-for-3 with one home run and three RBIs. The Mustangs' winning pitcher was Kristian Von Keil (Emmaus), who relieved starting pitcher Justin Risko (Pottsgrove) late in the game.

The Mustangs baseball team is now 11-15 overall (4-8 NJCAA Region XIX Division III). Next the team will travel to Gloucester County College on Thursday, Apr. 15 for a 3:30 p.m. match up.
