Russell and Hurst Earn All-Region Honors for Montgomery County Community College Men’s Soccer
Blue Bell, Pa. — Montgomery County Community College is proud to announce that men's soccer standouts Justin Russell and Daniel Hurst have earned All-Region honors for their outstanding performances during the 2025 season.
Freshman forward Justin Russell, a graduate of Spring-Ford High School, was named to the Third Team All-Region after an impressive debut season for the Mustangs. Russell led the team offensively, scoring 11 goals and adding 3 assists, establishing himself as one of the region's most dynamic attacking players.
Freshman defender Daniel Hurst, from Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, was selected to the Second Team All-Region for his exceptional defensive play. A consistent and commanding presence on the back line, Hurst anchored the Mustang defense while also contributing 2 assists on the year.
"Both Daniel and Justin made an immediate impact as freshmen," said Head Coach Tom Haney. "Their work ethic and commitment were outstanding all season long. This recognition is a reflection of the effort they've put in and the bright future they have ahead of them."
The Mustangs' 2025 campaign featured a number of strong performances, with Russell and Hurst helping lead Montgomery County Community College to another competitive season in which they captured the EPAC Conference Regular Season Championship.
