Soccer Co-Capt. Among 26 Grads; Commencement Speaker
BLUE BELL, Pa. - Men’s soccer team co-captain Jeremiah Garcia will serve as the Student Commencement speaker at Thursday evening's ceremony.
A resident of Plymouth Meeting, Garcia was elected President of the American Student Association of Community Colleges in his second year at Montgomery County Community College. He was also elected Vice President of the Student Government Association. Garcia will graduate with a degree in Liberal Studies. He plans to continue his education, majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship at a four-year school.
Garcia was among a group of 2014-2015 graduating student-athletes honored by the Athletics Department recently.

Bruce Bach, Director of Athletics and Campus Recreation, and Dr. Kathrine Swanson, Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, formally recognized a number of the 26 graduating student-athletes with special pins during a recent ceremony.
These student-athletes include:
Vincent Casciello: Graduated from Souderton Area High School and played on the Men's Basketball team. He is graduating with a degree in Liberal Studies.
Ryan Casper: Graduated from Methacton High School and played on the Men’s Basketball team. He is graduating with a degree in Business.
Jessica Habermehl: Graduated from Upper Moreland High school and played on the Softball team. She is graduating with a degree in Liberal Studies.
Tyreek Magruder: Graduated from Upper Dublin High School and played on the Men’s Basketball team. He is graduating with a degree in Liberal Studies.
Marissa Raimondi: Graduated from Spring Ford High School and played on the Women's Volleyball team. She is graduating with a degree in Liberal Studies.
Remon Samy: Graduated from North Penn High School and played on the Men's Soccer team. He is graduating with a degree in Engineer Sciences.
Angelina Sirak: Graduated from Upper Perkiomen High School and played Women's Soccer, Women's Basketball and Softball. She is graduating with a degree in Liberal Studies. Angelina plans to transfer to pursue a degree in Sports Management.
Stephanie Sirak: Graduated from Upper Perkiomen High School and played Women's Soccer, Women's Basketball and Softball. She is graduating with a degree in Liberal Studies. Stephanie is planning on entering the College's nursing program.
