Volleyball's Longest Win Streak of the Season Comes to an End

Volleyball was riding a 7 game win streak heading into their match at Harcum College on Thursday. This streak was the longest of the season and had put them in a great position in the region. However, the NJCAA Division II Bears were at the very least, challenging opponent.

They proved that in the first set, when they just barely edged out the Mustangs, 25-21. The second set was also very close, leading to another narrow Bears victory, 25-19. Feeling defeated, the Mustangs let their guard down, which proved fatal in the third set. The Bears quickly jumped out to a strong lead and held it for the 25-13 and 3-0 victory.

This loss ends the longest win streak of any Mustang Fall sport team this year. Miljana Vukoslavovic (SO, Serbia) lead the Mustangs with only six kills, while Julia Kuneck (FR, John Hallahan) led the Mustangs with 13 digs.

The Mustangs will get a great opportunity to rebound on Saturday during a tri-match against Community College of Phildelphia and Bergen Community College.
