Women's Volleyball: Improve to 16-1

Philadelphia, PA: The Mustangs defeated the Phantoms of Delaware County Community College in three sets with scores of 25-3, 25-7, 25-10 in the second match of the tri-match.

Outside Hitter Jenna Drummond (Harleysville, PA) led the team with 9 kills followed by Linda Sobeck (King of Prussia, PA/Upper Merion) with 8. Setter Carlye Odorisio (King of Prussia, PA/Upper Merion) led the team with 23 assists and 8 aces. Ordorisio and Tara Moffa (Hatfield, PA/North Penn) each contributed 12 digs. The team had 34 kills, 29 assists, 20 service aces, and 45 digs.

Coach Rita stated, "The team executed plays and made a point to run new plays we have been working on in practice. It was exciting to watch the new things we learned in practice pay off and score us points in the game." 

The Mustangs are at the Spartans of Northampton Community College on Tuesday, October 4 at 7:00 PM.

The Mustangs are members of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XIX and the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC).
