Women's Volleyball: Secures 2nd win on the day

Bryn Mawr, PA: The Mustangs Volleyball team secured it's second win of the day by defeating the Trojans of Valley Forge Military College in three straight sets 25-12, 25-11, 25-9.

Outside Hitter Linda Sobeck (Upper Merion) led the team with 5 kills tying her season high. Setter Cayle Odorisio (Upper Merion) continues to be a team player with 12 assists and 10 aces. Tara Moffa (North Penn) led the team with 15 digs while Anna Morgan (Wissahickon) contributed 10 digs. Second year Middle Hitter Hiba Elrhanjaoui (Upper Dublin) added 3 aces. As a team the Mustangs had 16 kills, 13 assists, and 17 aces and 52 digs.   

Coach Rivera said "The team played well and continued their focus from the Harcum game. They really honed in to deliver our second win today."

The Mustangs return home on Tuesday, September 13 for an EPAC conference game against Luzerne County Community College, 7 PM and on Thursday, September 15 for a match with 2015 NJCAA Region XIX and district H Champions Spartans of Northampton Community College, 7 PM

The Mustangs are members of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XIX and the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC).
