Game Recap: Women's Soccer Loses 1-3 to Bucks

The Montgomery County Community College Mustangs lost 1-3 to the Bucks County Community College Centurions.

The Centurions dominated the first half of the game, scoring two goals early on to send the Mustangs into half time down 0-2. The Mustangs regrouped during the break and were able to play evenly with the Centurions in the second. While the team did allow one goal in the 48th minute, the Mustangs answered back with one at 54:00.

Freshman midfielder Lauren Dunlap floated a pass in front of freshman forward Mayra Loaiza who knocked in the Mustangs' lone goal at 54:00. The teams shut each other out for the remainder of play.

"The adjustments Coach Haney suggested really made a difference in the second half," commented Assistant Coach Amanda Rogers. "We were able to go 1-1 in that period and the girls looked strong out there."

Freshman goal keeper Eileen Dugan had eight saves in the effort.
