Game Recap: Night To Forget As Women Fall, 99-32

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - It was a forgettable night for the Mustangs women's basketball team, which lost 99-32 on the road at Northampton Community College on Tuesday evening.

Montgomery saw the Spartans put up 46 first-half points en route to a 46-11 advantage at halftime.

The Mustangs shot just over 25 percent from the floor, while the Spartans converted 41.3 percent of their field-goal opportunities. Northampton made good on 5 of 12 shots from beyond the three-point arc, while Montgomery connected on just 2 of 8 from that range.

The Spartans also dominated play at the foul line, converting over 62 percent of their free throws (20 of 32), compared to the Mustangs' 31.2 percent (5 of 16).

Northampton out-rebounded the Mustangs, 53-24. Montgomery also committed 31 turnovers.

Alexandria Somers led the Mustangs with 12 points and 9 rebounds. Evelyn Ogden and India Williams chipped in 7 points apiece. Bryanna Lacey collected 4 steals and Bria Chamberlain grabbed 5 rebounds.

The Mustangs are back on the road Tuesday evening with an 6 PM tip-off against the Colonials of Community College of Philadelphia.
