Softball: Late score too much for Mustangs

Blue Bell, PA: The Mustangs suffered a heartbreaker in their season finale against the Colts Middlesex County College, as they lost the lead late in an 18-6 defeat.

The Mustangs took the early lead in the first inning when sophomore Linda Sobeck drove in two runs on a double. The game was tied at three with Middlesex County College batting in the top of the fourth when Sobeck walked #20 to drive in a run. The Mustangs lost despite out-hitting Middlesex six to five.

Sobeck took the loss for Mustangs 2017. She tossed three innings, allowing nine runs, and zero hits. Freshman Shannon Lee (Souderton, PA/Souderton) led the Mustangs with two hits in four at bats.

The Mustangs end their season are 8-17 overall and 2-6 in the EPAC.
