Mustangs Softball: Mustangs Lose to Lions (Game 2)

Blue Bell, PA-- The Mustangs were defeated 7-3 in Game 2 of their doubleheader on Monday, April 17th against the Raritan Valley Community College Lions. (non-conference event)

In the bottom of the first, Freshman, Shannon Lee #3 (Souderton High School/ Phys Ed. & Health) scored off Sophomore Emma Hagel's (Norristown High School/ Business Administration) grounds out.

In the third, Sophomore Alison Henning (Norristown High School/ Business Administration) stole 2nd base while Hagel was at bat. Hagel also managed to double on a line drive to center field, allowing Henning to run home.

Henning also scored off of Freshman Siobhan Seymour's #13 (Methacton High School/ Criminal Justice) ground out to first in the sixth.

Hagel and Henning had each a hot to lead th eMustangs. The Mustnags also stole four bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Henning led the way with two.

The Mustangs will also play against the Cumberland County Community College Dukes on Tuesday, April 18th at 3:30 in a non-conference double header event.

The Mustangs now have a conference record of 4-2 and are 6-8 overall.
