Softball: Mustangs Fall to Cougars

Blackwood, NJ: The Mustangs were out-hit by Camden CC Cougars in a conference game six to five, but it wasn't enough in a 10-1 loss on Tuesday, April 4th.

Freshman Yireh Byas #32 (Pottstown, PA / Pottstown High School; Engineering) went 1-for-2 at the plate as she led the team with one run batted in. Sophomore Second Baseman, Linda Sobeck #19 (King of Prussia, PA / Upper Merion Area High School; Early Child Education) also went 2 for 2.
Defensively the Mustangs will have to make some adjustments before the next game.  In this event, the Cougars ran wild on the base paths with nine stolen bases, so it is something the Mustangs won't let happen next time around.

The Mustangs move to 1-2 on the season. The Mustangs are back in action on Thursday, April 6 for an EPAC conference game at the Centurions of Bucks County Community College for a 4:00PM first pitch.

The Mustangs are members of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XIX and the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC).
