Game Recap: Mustangs Drop 2nd Straight, Lose 5-1 To Manor

JENKINTOWN, Pa. - Uri Perez scored the lone goal as the Mustangs dropped their second straight match, a 5-1 road loss to the Blue Jays of Manor College in Region XIX soccer action on Tuesday afternoon.

Perez's unassisted tally opened the game's scoring for a Mustangs team that sits at 6-4-1 with two games remaining in the regular season.

The Blue Jays, a Division I team, improved to 2-11 on the year after rallying to score the next five goals of the match.

Mustangs' goalkeeper Cristofer Anton faced 13 shots while filling in capably for starter Andrew Toro, who missed the contest after receiving a red card in the Oct. 2 match against Bucks County Community College.

The Mustangs play at Delaware County Community College on Saturday before closing out the regular season at home on Tuesday against the Colonials of Community College of Philadelphia. Tuesday's match begins at 3:30 PM.
