In 2019, Oliver Ellison joined the Montgomery County Community College men’s basketball program as an assistant coach under Nyere Miller. Before his arrival at MCCC, Ellison played two seasons of professional basketball in Morocco and Palestine. In 2016, he graduated from Howard University. At Howard, Ellison played a pivotal defensive role. He is top 10 all time in blocks at Howard with 102 blocks during his career. Ellison graduated from Gonzaga College high school in 2011 where he was recognized as defensive player of the year.
