Men's Basketball: Mustangs Face Upset Loss

Blue Bell, PA: The Luzerne County Community College Trailblazers faced redemption, delivering an upset loss of 102-100 straight to the Mustangs this Tuesday in a conference game.

At the half, Mustangs were up 54-40, but with another 20 minutes left to play, the game slipped away and the Trailblazers made their come-back.

During the Mustangs last possession, time was not on their side as there were only just about 3 seconds on the clock.

Although it was a home loss hit hard, sophomore guard Kyle Pavlik (Chalfont/Lansdale Catholic) and Freshman forward Carl Robinson (Jenkintown/ Jenkintown) both scored 19 points each.

Following in suit, Freshman guards Marvin Crawley (Glenside/ Abington) and JT Vaughan (Norristown/Norristown) also contributed 17 points. Sophomore forward Brendan Watton (Conshohocken/ Plymnouth Whitemarsh) also drained 5 three-pointers in the night's game.

The Mustangs record stands at 9-14 and are 7-9 in EPAC play. The Mustangs play Thursday, February 9th at 7:00 PM in a non-conference game against the Williamson Free Trade.
