Men's Basketball: Mustangs Lose to Colonials

Philadelphia, PA: The Mustangs men's basketball team were defeated by the Colonials of Philadelphia Community College in a conference game, Tuesday 84-67.

The Mustangs kept the lead by the end of the first half, ending it with a 11 point lead at 41-30. Unable to keep up the intensity, the Colonials managed to outscore the Mustangs with enough points to secure the win.

Despite the loss, freshman guard Marvin Crawley (Glenside/ Abington) played a strong game, scoring 23 points and racking up 14 rebounds for the Mustangs.

Freshmen guard JT Vaughan (Norristown/Norristown) also scored 17 points and 10 rebounds, with sophomore guard Kyle Pavlik (Chalfont/Lansdale Catholic) contributing 16 points and 9 rebounds.

The Mustangs move to 7-11 overall and 6-6 in EPAC play. The Mustangs will play against the Northampton Community College Spartans in conference game on Thursday. Tip-off is 8 PM.

The Mustangs are members of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XIX and the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC).
