Nanticoke, PA: The Mustangs men's basketball team defeated the Trailblazers of Luzerne County Community College 109- 100, Thursday in a non-conference game.
The first half showcased a strong performance from the Mustangs, who matched the Trailblazers point for point at 49 points.
Freshman guard Marvin Crawley (Glenside/ Abington) led the Mustangs in the effort, scoring 32 points with 10 rebounds. Sophomore guard Kyle Pavlik (Chalfont/Lansdale Catholic) and freshman guard Carl Robinson (Jenkintown/ Jenkintown) respectively chipped in to secure the win with each of their 21 points. Shakkir Gibbs managed to notch up 15 points as well.
The Mustangs move to 4-9 overall and 2-4 in EPAC play. The Mustangs will host a conference game against the Lehigh Carbon Community College Cougars on Tuesday for a 7 PM tip-off.
The Mustangs are members of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XIX and the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC).
