Sophomore Will Brownlowe got some good news this week, as he accepted a scholarship offer from Chestnut Hill College to continue his baseball career.
Since graduating from Wissahickon High School, Brownlowe has played 38 games for the Mustangs in two years. In those 38 games, Brownlowe has put up 42 RBIs and 64 Hs. He is also Montgomery's starting catcher, wracking up a .978 fielding percentage and only allowing 22 passed balls.
Brownlowe will be joining a successful Chestnut Hill team, who went 23-21 last season. The Griffins compete in a competitive Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference, which means that Brownlowe will have to work hard in order to be successful. However, he's already shown a great work ethic and strong growth while with the Mustangs, so Chestnut Hill should be confident in his ability to do the same there.
Congratulations Will Brownlowe!
