Baseball: Spartans overpower Mustangs

Bethlehem, PA: The Mustangs were defeated by the Spartans of Northampton Community College by a score of 23-0 in an EPAC conference game.

The Mustangs couldn't generate any offense to off-set the high powered offense of the Spartans. Sophomore Dan Janoson (Roslyn, PA/Bishop McDevitt) was the only Mustang to earn hits in the game. Janoson earned two hits.

The Mustangs had to utilize 3 pitchers in the game with Paul Mudrick (Collegeville, PA/Perkiomen Valley), freshman Griffin Kidd (Roslyn, PA/Archbishop Wood), and freshman Justin Wieand (Gilbertsville, PA/Boyertown) all going 2 innings each for the Mustangs.

The Mustangs currently have a conference record of 2-6 and 3-14 overall. The Mustangs next game will be away against the Centurions of Bucks County Community College at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, April 28th.

The Mustangs are members of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XIX and the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC).
