Mustangs Baseball: Mustangs Take a Loss from Mechanics

Blue Bell, PA-- Coming back from yesterday's loss, the Mustangs did improve things offensively, collecting a total of 15 hits. However, the Mustangs were still defeated 12-5 against the Williamson Free Trade Mechanics, Wednesday, April 19th in a non-conference event.

Three of the Mustangs managed to get 3 hits each and scored a run. The following players included: Sophomore First Baseman, Nick Mikesic #2 (Perkiomen Valley/ Engineering),  Freshman Shortstop, Dan Janoson #5 ( Bishop McDevitt High School/ Phys Ed. & Health), and Freshman Left Fielder, Justin Wieand #21 (Boyertown high School/ Life Sciences).

Freshman Third Baseman, Ty Wolfel #30 (Pottstown High School/ Business Administration) also had 2 hits and 1 run while Freshman Right Fielder, Ken Branford #7 (Lighthouse Christian Academy/ Criminal Justice) contributed 1 hit and 1 run of his own. 

Freshman Second Basemen, Adam McKinlay #33 (Plymouth Whitemarsh High School/ Business Administration), Freshman Center Fielder Kyle Callahan #24 (Archbishop Carroll High School/ Business Administration), and Freshman Eric Rotondaro #20 (Archbishop Ryan High School/ Computer Networking) also had 1 hit each.

The Mustangs currently have a conference record of 1-5 and 2-10 overall. The Mustangs next game will be away against the Delaware County Community College Phantoms at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 20th (non-conference event).
