After a near flawless game the Mustangs posted two errors that resulted in three runs for the Roadrunners. Behind 1-4 going into the top of the 9th inning, the Mustangs threw all they had at the competition. However, the effort was not converted into runs and the Roadrunners prevailed 4-1.
Game two was riddled with injuries and imbalance for the Mustangs. Three athletes suffered injuries in the first two innings, including a concussion, a pulled arm muscle and an injured hip.
