In game one the Mustangs jumped out to a 9-0 lead before the Buccaneers were able to get two runs on the board in the bottom of the fourth inning. The Buccaneers fought to make a comeback but could not drum up the offensive power to overtake the Mustangs. For the Mustangs, Kyle Gaffney had three hits, two home runs and three RBIs, Nick Strizziere had four hits and two doubles, Eric Lewandowski had two hits, three RBIs and one home run and Tim Sugalski had four hits, four RBIs and one double. Zach Wasson was the winning pitcher with seven innings pitched and 11 strikeouts.
In game two the Buccaneers scored first but the Mustangs answered back and blanked the Buccaneers after the second inning. In the 8-3 win, the Mustangs' John Iorio had two hits and one RBI and Mark Anderson had three hits and one RBI. The winning pitcher was Jay Kluka, who pitched seven innings and recorded nine strikeouts.
