Mustangs Honored for Academic Achievements

Blue Bell, Pa. – Montgomery County Community College honored 23 student-athletes and one team for their academic accomplishments during the 2009-2010 academic year.
Three student-athletes earned the top honor of Distinguished Scholar Athlete of the Year for completing the 2009-2010 fall and spring semesters with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.75-4.00

For maintaining a GPA of 3.00 to 3.74, twenty Montgomery County Community College student-athletes were named Scholar Athletes of the Year.

The women’s basketball team was named Academic Team of the Year for earning the highest overall GPA amongst all the Mustangs teams in the 2009-2010 academic year. The ten-woman basketball squad achieved an average overall GPA of 2.87.
